New Forms of Citizenship and Subsequent Approaches to Studying Media Communications
This essay examines the manner in which changing understandings of citizenship and media relationships to it have affected the way that media itself can be analyzed and deconstructed. This essay examines each of five differing kinds of citizenship and how the development of them has led to new kinds of media analysis in order to keep pace with the changing way that individuals perceive their relationship to media.
