This paper discusses the need for a national health care system and some of the fores making it necessary as well as the reasons why a better system anda better policy might benefit the individual citizen, raising issues such as cost, a reduction in medical research and innovation, the loss of patient choice, and the creation of an unnecessary bureaucracy
