This paper takes the view that marijuana should be legalized for several reasons. One of the reasons discussed is there are more deaths due to alcohol than marijuana. In fact, there is no proof marijuana ever killed anyone including the fact there are no documental cases of overdose. Another reason is if marijuana was legalized perhaps teenagers would try it first and never become alcoholics. The third reason is medical. Many physicians believe marijuana should be legalized so patients could use it legally.
