An Ethical Analysis of the Barry Bonds Steroid Case
Recent testimony in the Barry Bonds case reflects the use of steroids by the professional baseball player. Bonds told a grand jury that he had no knowledge that his personal trainer was distributing steroids to him, and believed that the substances his trainer prescribed were flaxseed oil and a rubbing balm for his arthritis. This paper briefly identifies the ethical issues in the case.
